The AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook is a reference manual to be used by the automotive industry suppliers as a guide to assist them in the development of Design FMEA, Process FMEA, and Supplemental FMEA for Monitoring and System Response.<\/p>\n
The Handbook does not define requirements; it is intended to clarify the steps, activities, and tools related to the technical development of FMEAs. Efforts were taken to align the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook with the SAE J1739 standard.<\/p>\n
